Combine images into one, in your browser
This tool joins two or more pictures into a single one, in your browser. Put them in the order you want, stack them top to bottom or line them up side by side, choose the gap and background colour, and save the result as JPG, PNG or one long PDF page. Your pictures are never uploaded.

How to use Combine Images
Add your images
Press Select images or drop at least two pictures on the box. Use the up and down arrows to set their order, or remove any you do not need.
Choose the layout
Pick Top to bottom or Side by side, tick "Make them all the same width" if you like, then set the Gap, Background and Save as.
Combine and save
Press "Combine" with the number of images shown on the button, check the size under the result, then download it.
How the pictures are joined
Each picture is opened in your browser and turned upright using its EXIF rotation tag, if it has one. The pictures are then drawn one after another onto a single blank canvas filled with the background colour you chose, with the gap you set between them.
If you ask for the same width or height, each picture is scaled to match the widest or tallest one, keeping its proportions. Without that, pictures keep their own size and the canvas is as wide or as tall as the biggest of them. A result over about 16 million pixels is shrunk to fit.
JPG output is compressed when saved, so a small loss in quality is possible; PNG keeps every pixel. The PDF holds the finished picture on one long page. EXIF details such as camera model and GPS location are not copied. Nothing is uploaded at any point.
Questions about Combine Images
How do I combine images into one for free?
Add two or more pictures above, put them in order with the arrows, choose Top to bottom or Side by side and press the Combine button. It is free, needs no account, and the pictures never leave your device.
How can I stitch screenshots into one long image?
Add the screenshots, put them in the right order with the arrows, choose Top to bottom and tick "Make them all the same width" so the edges line up. Set the gap to none so the pictures meet edge to edge, then press Combine. This suits chat threads and long app screens.
Can I put two pictures side by side?
Yes. Choose Side by side and tick "Make them all the same height" so both pictures match. It works well for before and after photos or a pair of product shots. Pick a gap of 8, 16 or 32 pixels and a background colour to show between them.
Can I save the result as a PDF?
Yes. Under Save as, choose PDF (one long page) and all the pictures go on a single page in the order you set. That is handy for receipts or photos of documents you want to send as one file. Choose JPG or PNG if you want a picture instead.
Is there a limit on the size of the combined picture?
Very large results are scaled down to about 16 million pixels, which is what browsers and phones can open reliably. If that happens, the page tells you. The pixel size of the final picture is shown under the result.
Is it safe to combine my pictures online?
With PlumPDF the pictures never leave your device. They are joined inside your browser tab, nothing is uploaded, and closing the tab discards everything. You can check by going offline after the page loads and combining anyway.
