How to use Watermark Image

What happens to your pictures
Each image is opened in your browser at full resolution, the watermark is drawn onto it, and it is saved again in the format it came in: JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG, and so on. Width and height do not change. Transparent PNG, WEBP and AVIF images keep their transparency.
Text size and logo width are set as a percentage of each image's width, and the distance from the edge as a share of its shorter side, so one setting suits a whole folder of photos taken at different sizes. Tiled mode repeats the mark in a staggered grid over the whole picture.
EXIF details such as camera model and GPS location are not copied to the result, and phone photos are turned the right way up first. JPG photos are compressed again when saved, so a small loss in quality is possible; 90 or more keeps it invisible.

How do I watermark photos for free?

Can I watermark many photos at once?
Yes. Add up to 50 images. The same watermark goes on each one, sized as a share of each picture's width so it looks alike on large and small photos. Download them one by one or all together as a zip.
Will the image lose quality or change size?
The width and height stay exactly the same. PNG images are saved without loss. JPG, WEBP and AVIF are saved again in their own format at the quality you set (90 by default for JPG), which is hard to tell from the original.
Can I use a logo with a transparent background?
Yes. Choose Picture and pick a PNG, WEBP or SVG with transparency, and only the logo is drawn. Set its width as a percentage of the photo and lower the opacity for a subtle mark.
Can someone remove my watermark?
A watermark is drawn into the pixels, so it cannot simply be switched off, but a skilled editor can paint over it or crop it away. A tiled watermark across the whole picture is the hardest to remove. Think of it as a label of ownership, not a lock.
Is it safe to watermark photos online?
With PlumPDF the photos never leave your device. The watermark is drawn inside your browser tab, nothing is uploaded, and closing the tab discards everything. You can check by going offline after the page loads and running it anyway.
