How to use Circle Crop
Choose your picture

Place it in the circle
Drag the picture to move it and use Zoom to fill the circle. Pick the size you need.
Save the round picture
Press Save the round picture and download the PNG. Tick white corners first if the site does not take transparency.
A clean round edge on any background
The picture is placed in a square you choose by dragging and zooming, and only the circle inside that square is kept. The rest becomes fully see-through, so the round picture can be laid over a coloured page, a dark mode screen or a slide without a white box around it.
The edge of the circle is drawn smoothly at the size you pick, so it stays crisp when a site shows it small. If a website or app turns see-through corners black, tick white corners and the circle is saved on white instead.

How do I crop a picture into a circle?
Choose the picture, drag it so the part you want sits in the circle, zoom in if needed, and press Save the round picture. You get a round PNG.
Is the background transparent?
Yes. The corners outside the circle are see-through in the PNG, so the round picture sits cleanly on any colour. Tick white corners if a site turns transparency black.
What size should a profile picture be?
Most sites show profile pictures small but store them at 400 to 1080 pixels. 800 × 800 is a safe choice; pick 1080 for the sharpest result.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The picture is cropped on your own device, inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Can I crop to a square or another shape?
For a square or any rectangle, use Crop Image. Circle Crop always makes a round picture.
