CTET size checker, photo and signature
The CTET September 2026 bulletin asks for a photo between 10 and 100 KB, 3.5 cm wide and 4.5 cm high, and a signature between 3 and 30 KB, 3.5 cm by 1.5 cm, both as JPG. This checker is already set to those sizes: choose your files, see a tick or a cross for each rule, and fix the rest with one button. It runs in your browser, so your files are never uploaded.
The form’s file rules
Copy the rules from the form’s instructions. Leave a field empty if the form does not say. Save, then share the link so others get the same checker.
How to use CTET Photo and Signature Size
Choose your files
The checker is already set to the rules in the CTET September 2026 information bulletin. Press Choose a picture or Choose a PDF for each file the form asks for.
Read the ticks and crosses
Each file shows a tick or a cross for every rule: file type, maximum KB, minimum KB and, where the notice gives them, exact pixels.
Make everything fit
Press Make everything fit to fix each file that fails, then download the fixed files and upload them to the form. Copy link shares the same checker with a friend.
One set of rules for everyone filling the same form
Most forms give the same rules to everyone: a size range in KB, an exact size in pixels, and a limit for a PDF. Instead of every person working them out again, you enter them once and share the link. Whoever opens it sees the same checker, ready for their own files.
Each file is judged on its own, with a tick or a cross for every rule, so you can see exactly what is wrong before the form rejects it. Press Make everything fit and the files that fail are fixed in one go. If you have saved a photo or signature in My files with Form kit on, Use my Form kit copy puts it in with one tap.
Photos and signatures are cropped from the centre to the exact pixels, so check that the face or signature is not off-centre. Because the KB are counted strictly, a file that passes here should pass however the form counts. Your files never leave your device, and fixed files can be kept in My files for 7 days.
Questions about CTET Photo and Signature Size
What is the CTET photo and signature size?
The CTET September 2026 bulletin asks for a photo as a JPG between 10 and 100 KB, 3.5 cm wide and 4.5 cm high, and a signature as a JPG between 3 and 30 KB, 3.5 cm long and 1.5 cm high. Always check the bulletin of the session you apply for.
My signature is under 3 KB. What do I do?
A very small, faint signature can come out under 3 KB. Sign larger and darker on white paper and photograph it in good light, or press Make everything fit, which raises the quality and size until the file is over the minimum.
How are the KB counted?
Strictly, so the file passes however a form counts. The size must be under the maximum times 1,000 bytes and over the minimum times 1,024 bytes. A file just inside the limit on one count may therefore show a cross here, and that is on purpose.
What does Make everything fit do?
It fixes every file that fails. Photos and signatures become JPGs at the exact pixels, cropped from the centre, with the best quality that lands in the KB range. A PDF is compressed by lowering the resolution of its images until it is under the limit, so the text stays sharp. The fixed files show the checks again.
Is my photo or signature uploaded?
No. Your photo, signature and documents stay on this device, and everything is checked and fixed in your browser. Only the rules are in the link, never your files. It works on phones too.
Is this the official CTET website?
No. PlumPDF is not connected to the exam body. The rules here are copied from the CTET September 2026 information bulletin; if the notice for your exam says something else, press Change the rules and type the new numbers.
