Photo collage maker, a grid of photos in seconds

Choose your photos, pick a layout and a size, and get a neat grid collage ready to post: two side by side, one big and two small, or a grid of four, six or nine. Each photo fills its square from the centre, with the gap and background colour you like. It runs in your browser, so your photos are never uploaded.

How to use Photo Collage Maker

  1. Choose your photos

Press Select photos and pick two to nine. A layout that fits them is chosen for you.

  2. Pick the layout and size

Change the layout, the size (square post, portrait post, story or wide), the gap and the background colour. The preview updates as you go.

  3. Make the collage

Press Make the collage and download the JPG, ready to post or send.

A tidy grid, sized for where you post it

The collage is laid out on a canvas of exactly the size social apps expect, so it is not cut off or shrunk when you post it. Each photo is cropped from its centre to the shape of its cell, which keeps faces and subjects in view without stretching anything.

Gaps are the same width between photos and around the edge, in the background colour you pick, and the preview is drawn the same way as the saved picture, so what you see is what you download.

Your photos are read and the collage is made in your browser, so nothing is uploaded at any point.

Questions about Photo Collage Maker

How do I make a photo collage?

Choose your photos, pick a layout and a size, and press Make the collage. You get one JPG with all the photos in a grid.

How many photos can I use?

From two up to nine. Layouts hold two, three, four, six or nine photos; if you choose more photos than a layout holds, the extra ones are left out, so pick a bigger grid.

What size is best for Instagram?

Square post (1080 × 1080) or portrait post (1080 × 1350) for the feed, and story (1080 × 1920) for stories, reels covers and WhatsApp status.

Will my photos be stretched?

No. Each photo keeps its shape and is cropped from the centre to fill its cell, so keep the subject near the middle of each photo.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The collage is made on your own device, inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Can I put photos one under the other in a long strip?

Yes, with Combine Images, which joins photos in one long column or row at their full width.
