How to use Resume Builder

  1. Fill in your details

Type your name, job title and contact details, then a few lines about yourself. Add a photo if the job asks for one.

  2. Add jobs, education and skills

Add each job with one point per line, then your education, skills and languages. The page beside the form updates as you type.

  3. Download the PDF

Choose a colour and press Download PDF. Your details stay in this browser, so you can come back and update it.

A resume that reads well on paper and on screen

The resume follows a plain, proven order: your name and contact details, a short summary, then experience with the newest job first, education, skills and anything else that helps. Each job's points are set as bullets, dates line up on the right, and headings never get left alone at the bottom of a page.

The page is drawn by your browser in the fonts it has, so every script comes out right, and the PDF keeps a real text layer under it. That is what lets an employer select and search your resume, and what job portals read when they file it.

Everything you type is kept only in your browser, so you can come back and update the resume for the next application. Nothing is uploaded at any point.

Questions about Resume Builder

Is this resume builder really free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no paid template: type your details and download the PDF.

Can job portals and screening software read it?

Yes. The PDF has a real text layer under the page, so the words can be selected, searched and read by job portals, while the page looks exactly as on screen.

Should I add a photo?

It depends on where you apply. Many Indian employers and government forms expect one; many companies abroad prefer none. The photo is optional and cut to a passport-style shape.

Where is my information kept?

Only in your own browser, so it is there when you come back to update the resume. Nothing is uploaded. Press Start a new resume to clear it.

Can I write my resume in Hindi or another language?

Yes. The page is drawn by your browser, so Hindi, Tamil, Bengali and other scripts come out right, and the headings follow the language of the page.

How long should a resume be?

One page is best for most freshers and people with a few years of work; two pages are fine for longer careers. The preview tells you when it runs onto a second page.
