What is the RRB Group D signature size?
Notice CEN 09/2025 asks for a JPG or JPEG between 30 and 49 KB, at least 140 × 60 pixels, scanned at 100 DPI or more. Sign in black ink on white paper, in joined writing rather than capital letters, inside a box of 35 × 20 mm. Other railway notices can set other sizes, so check the notice of your exam.
My signature is under 30 KB. How do I make it bigger?
A small, clean signature is often well under 30 KB. Press Make everything fit: the tool raises the JPG quality and then the pixels until the file is over 30 KB and under 49 KB. A larger photo or scan of the signature gives a sharper result.
How are the KB counted?
Strictly, so the file passes however a form counts. The size must be under the maximum times 1,000 bytes and over the minimum times 1,024 bytes. A file just inside the limit on one count may therefore show a cross here, and that is on purpose.
What does Make everything fit do?
It fixes every file that fails. Photos and signatures become JPGs at the exact pixels, cropped from the centre, with the best quality that lands in the KB range. A PDF is compressed by lowering the resolution of its images until it is under the limit, so the text stays sharp. The fixed files show the checks again.

Is this the official RRB Group D website?
